I'm new to Illustrator cs6. How is this supposed to be downloaded into Illustrator? Do I change the jpg file into an 'ai' at the end? I did that, saved it into the brushes presets, but it didn't work.

I don't think it does. This is an .ai file (Illustrator), and Photoshop uses .abr files.
